Signed Joe Pepitone YANKEES Game Stub Ticket . Not dated. Signed 2x, first in black ball point ink, then in black marker. Ticket measures 6 x 2 in. Additional 2 American League Championship Series YANKEES tickets. These tickets date anywhere from 1966 to 1972 during the time Michael Burke was President and CEO of The NY YANKEES. Orange and white tickets with blue and orange typed print. Tickets measure 6.5 x app. 2.25 in. All tickets have been stored in a thick plastic envelope sleeve for preservation. Property of 5th Avenue Manhattan Estate corporate CEOs passion & collection of Yankee Baseball memorabilia. His playing career lasted from 1962 until 1973. He was known for playing for the New York Yankees, Chicago Cubs, Houston Astros and the Atlanta Braves. Pepitone was a three-time MLB All-Star player. In 1982, Pepitone was hired as a major league hitting coach with the Yankees but was replaced by Lou Pinella because he was sent to prison. Yet George Steinbrenner re-hired him in 1988 as part of a work-release program to serve in the development of minor league players. Pepitone received a 1999 World Series ring for his relationship with the Yankees, eventually selling it at auction.
