Monte Carlo or Bust is a European comedy co-produced in the UK, France, and Italy. The film, set in the 1920s and based on the "Monte Carlo Rally," follows a group of eccentric contestants from all over the world as they race across Europe and endure fated obstacles and misadventures.
John Furniss is an Academy Award-nominated British costume designer best known for his work in Sleuth (Palomar Pictures International, 1972), The Blue Max (Twentieth Century Fox, 1966), and The Go-Between (EMI Films, 1971).
