Manufactured by Schoenhut for a short period of time in the 1930s, this particular milk wagon was more than likely produced for the Alderney Dairy Co. on special request. There were approximately nine different milk and bread wagons manufactured by Schoenhut for various firms. Although a couple of different models are pictured in their catalogs, most wagons were likely custom orders for various dairy and bread companies. This particular version has lettering on either side with a large picture of a cow in the pasture. Rare opening tailgate emblazoned with the word "MILK" gave access to the crates of milk within.
