Description
Early 20th century, American. This attractive example with original tin decorated front door panel illustrated with a group of young children playing with ribbon tied red, white and blue balloon on the lawn of a manor house. "Diamond Dyes" along the upper edge and "The Standard Package Dyes of the World" printed on the bottom of the lithographed panel, set within on oak molded door frame, opening to an arrangement of slotted cubby holes for display of dye packets. The rear of the cabinet is fitted with an original hinged door, now mounted with a later mirrored plate. The whole on a molded base. Accompanying the cabinet is a copy of "The Diamond Dyes Annual and Direction Book 1914-15, Edition No. 12". SIZE: 24" h x 15" w x 9" d. UNATTACHED ACCESSORY: Diamond Dye Annual and Directions Book. CONDITION: tin and decoration in great original condition. Interior is missing several dividers and two horizontal shelves. (02-17859/TG). $500-1,000.
