An antique 19th century Orientalist bronze sculpture by Josef Wind, German, 1864 to 1898, titled Snake Charmer (Charmeuse de serpent) and depicting the young nude woman holding a horn and a snake wrapping around her left arm. Signed to the round base: Wind. Josef Wind was born in Munich in 1864 and is best known for his marble figures. The sculptor studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich.
