Description
A beautiful Chinese Kangxi period round box inlaid with mother of pearl, lapis, turquoise and horn. Three central carved horn figures depict a scholar and two young students. Considerable loss to several of the inset pieces. Old repairs and restoration present throughout. Central figures apparently undamaged. Mark to base likely å°‘è» Shaojun executed in silver wire. 6.25" diameter x 3.25" height. 630 grams.
