Pair of black basalt porcelain busts, mounted on faux marble porcelain pedestals having gilt trim and gilt name plates, one depicting Genevan philosopher Jean-Jacques Rousseau (1712-1778), marked "Italy" on base and with a partial Mottahedeh Design sticker; other depicting Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805), marked on base "Chelsea House / Port Royal" and "Porcelain / Italy"; approx. 8 1/4"H, 3 1/4"W, 3 1/4"D; both in good condition---From the estate of Joseph Ewing, long-time antiques dealer in OH, NC, and SC, to benefit the Laurens County Museum Association and the Laurens County Humane Society, Laurens, SC.
