Norman Rockwell home scene oil on canvas panel Dorothy Lahna 1966 Arlington Vermont.This framed oil on canvas panel was done by an artist named Dorothy Lahna in which she entitled this painting Kirk by the bottom kill.There was something that stuck out to me about this scene so I did a little research. Come to find out that this scene is of a real church and covered bridge located in Arlington Vermont in which I also have learned through this research that is also where Norman Rockwell grew up. It is said to be that this is the scene in which Norman Rockwell would see coming out of his childhood home on a daily basis.Although I could not find much about this particular artist, she did an extremely fine job with this painting. Unfortunately there is a little damage to the upper tree line on the right in which there is an indentation and tear.Signed and dated, Dorothy Lahna 1966. 25 1/2" x 21 5/8" frame 20" x 16" canvas.
