Diego Rivera Mexican, 1886-1957 Pastel Study for The Detroit Industry Murals, 1932 with Shell Oil Company Provenance. From the collection of Mr. Fernando Martinez. Includes Includes an original letter from 1968 signed by Shell representative Hal Power confirming the acquisition by Shell of the Rivera in 1950 from Gallery Misrachi in Mexico City. Work depicts two laborers on scaffolding. Signed in bottom right corner. Artwork measures 28 inches high x 22 inches wide. Frame measures 31.75 inches high x 26 inches wide.
