Item Details

Description

Pair of early side chairs with spindle backs and small shield.To me these chairs are extremely comfortable. These have a wonderful design and great patina.There is some chippage to the finish on one of the seats and one has a small break to the upper left back support.I believe these to be from the early 1800s.One is 34 7/8" high, the other 34 1/2" highFront Leg width is 18 3/4" on one, the other 18 1/4"Both leg depths are around 15 1/2" slightly less on oneThe depth of the chair from the front of the seat to back rest top are around 19 1/4" slightly less on one.

Condition

Very good, pretty much normal wear and little bit of finish blemishes and top left to one chair has a repair. See photos
