VICTORIAN OPALESCENT HOBNAIL / DEW DROP GLASS AND JEWELED KEROSENE HANGING / LIBRARY LAMP, cranberry opalescent Hobnail umbrella form shade, stamped brass font cup with swirling and floral motif, scrolling support arms with lower finial featuring two pairs of faceted jewels in varying colors, fitted with a cranberry opalescent Hobnail font, stamped brass shade ring, leveler, motor cover with motor, smoke bell, and shade crown. Fitted with a period slip burner, colorless slip chimney, and pale amethyst hanging prisms. Maker unverified. Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century. Shade: 5 5/8" H, 14" D fitter.
