Description
ASSORTED SHEET-IRON LANTERNS, LOT OF THREE, comprising two Bullseye examples, including a Dietz Police Flash Light with remnants of Japanned finish, wire and strap handle with maker's name embossing, interior fitted with a period sheet iron font and burner; and remaining a diminutive candle example with wire handles, interior fitted with a rotating lens operated by the corrugated top, lens colors include red and green; and a triangular-form N. L. Piper railway Supply Co. example, two glass circular-form lenses in blue and red, hinged door with maker's brass plate, bail handle. Fourth quarter 19th century. 4 3/8" to 10 1/4" HOA.
