Description
IRON BRADLEY & HUBBARD NO. 1600 DOUBLE-ARM KEROSENE HANGING CHANDELIER, brass finish, simple construction with a central rod shaft, spiraling contoured arms supporting two open-work font holders, top with two arms for supporting the smoke bells, extension with a loop and chain, blue alabaster bracket fonts with lower panels, No. 2 fine-line collars. Fitted with a period setup comprising E. F. Jones No. 2 lip burners, thumbwheels impressed "E. F. JONES/ BOSTON / PATENT / JANUARY 11. 1859.", colorless and frosted ball-form shades with engraved reverse tassel, 4 1/4" stamped shade rings, colorless chimneys, and smoke bells with applied blue rims and metal hanging hooks. Second half 19th century. Frame 33" HOA, 20 1/2" WOA, fonts 4 1/2" H to top of collars.

Frame undamaged and with light surface rust., fonts undamaged and with some scattered as-made manufacturing imperfections. Burners with some light deflector denting, remaining components undamaged and shade and chimney fitters with normal as-made roughness.
