A FINE ASSORTMENT OF JAPANESE PORCELAIN
Japanese, 19th to early 20th century, porcelain. Four (4) articles: a deep Kutani bowl of butterflies and birds, the inside a continuous and expansive landscape scene; a Kutani footed censer with aviary and courtyard scenes; a Satsuma censer of floriform handles, rounded hexagonal body, and vibrantly painted with florals and genre scenes; and a short Satsuma teapot with scenes of mothers and children, landscapes, and patterns under arches to the circumference, marked Ryozan jo shi.
Bowl: 4 1/4 x 6 in. (10.8 x 15.2 cm.)

Condition
Kutani censer shows amateur repairs to lid, the teapot showing restoration to spout and lacking handle.
