Description
A group of assorted VHS tapes and bookends. A group of 45 VHS tapes of assorted railroads including Nickel Plate Road, Southern Pacific, Union Pacific, Great Northern, Illinois Central, The Green Bay Route, Rio Grande Southern, Frisco 1522, New York's Last Trolleys, and more. A 14" long German 52lb. rail manufactured at the Krupp Gusstahlfabrik, Essen in the Ruhr, 1881. This section was in use on the Santa Fe Railway's San Jacinto District in California from 1888 until 1972 and was probably transported by ship around Cape Horn. A pair of heavy 4" brass railroad bookends. A cast iron train bookend measures 11" long and shows general signs of use with minor spots and dust. See photos for best description.
