Grouping of 4 early brass candlesticks, all 18th to early 19th century. The largest, with an unusual candle release mechanism, is marked on swivel mount to the side of neck "J. Barlow's Patent", and is in good working order, measures 9 1/4"H x 4" square at base - soldered repair to one of the turnings, else good condition - see Winterthur Museum for identical example; 18th century brass candlestick with wide circular base with molded edge - small repair to turnings and small loss along the edge of base - 8 1/2"H x 6" diameter at base; early 19th century candlestick with turned columns mounted on a wide stepped base - solder repair to underside of base else good condition - 8 1/2"H x 5 1/4" diameter at base; and the smallest, 18th century, turned column, octagonal shaped base with soldered repair at base of column - overall very good condition - 6"H x 3 3/4" diameter at base.
