Unusual Black Forest Carved Oak Cartel Clock

fourth quarter 19th century, Swiss, the shield-form clock with a crest carved with a pineapple and a quiver, the clock dial framed with pomegranates, grapes and corn, and the bottom with a bagpipe, a quiver and various other trophies.

In fair as found condition. Losses to top leaves of the pineapple and the left corner of the shovel. Most teeth are missing on the rake. Small surface loss to the pomegranate, the bagpipe, and to the flowers above the bagpipe. Ends of the scrolls are missing the right side. Top of the grapes is missing. Minor loss to leaves behind the grapes. Scattered patination to the brass numerals. Rear door missing.
