Pair of Lalique "Grimpereaux" Molded and Frosted Crystal Vases/Wine Coolers

ca. 1926, decorated with panels of birds on leafy vines, with a sepia-patinated ground, the bases signed "R. Lalique" in etched script.

Model 987 Handsome pair in sturdy, usable condition. Decoration good. Rim edges of both beveled on the interior. One example with two tiny nicks at the top edge above a slightly more evident ground area (approximately 5-3/4"). Second example with scattered irregular beveling along the rim interior. The block feet of both with nicks, scuffs and a tiny flake or two. All of the above consistent with age and use as these coolers were surely put to good use in the 1920s Wentworth's Paris home.
