Description
This is a Bronze Age Luristan spear point with a medial ridge. This item is described in a certified insurance appraisal dated November 18th 2003 by Harmer Johnson, Appraisers Association of America, prepared for Marshall and Kay J. Lee.
From the Upstate New York estate of Marshall and Kay Lee. Marshall was a well known collector of Pre-Columbian pottery and a talented and well-respected book designer in the publishing industry.
The blade length is 14". Including the tang, the total length is 17 3/8". The maximum width is 1 7/8".
