Description
This is an ancient reddish brown pottery vessel with a rounded base and flared rim. Purchased Sotheby's Sale 5937 11/20/1989 Lot 418
From the Upstate New York estate of Marshall and Kay Lee. Marshall was a well known collector of Pre-Columbian pottery and a talented and well-respected book designer in the publishing industry.
11 3/4" tall. The max diameter is 8". The top rim is 4".

Condition
There is an old glued repair to the lower portion of the entirety of the base. Series of cracks extending upward into the vessel from the lower repair. Old repair to the rim. Small scattered flakes. Please examine the images for the best indication of condition.
