Two antique early 19thC. hand colored fish prints originally published in Dictionnaire des Sciences Naturelles. One print depicts two loach species (anableps de Surinam and cobite loche franche), the other depicts a forkbeard (merzullo barbuto) and a fivebeard rockling (mustela comune), scientific names and clasifications have changed, the names included in the description refer to those on the print. Approx. sight size H: 7" W: 4 1/2".
Condition
Framed, matted, and sealed under glass. Unexamined out of frame.
