Vintage Russian (USSR) tea cup and saucer, fine quality translucent porcelain, swirling design with hand painted small blue flowers on bright green stems, Lomonosov Porcelain Manufacturing [Imperial Porcelain Factory], St. Petersburg, Russia. mid-twentieth century, 1960s-1970s, 'LFZ' porcelain mark with "USSR" was in use 1932-1991.

The cup is 2.3/4" [7cm] tall; 2.3/4" across at the top, c.3.3/4" [9.5cm] wide including handle. The saucer is c.5" [12.5cm] across. No chips, no hairlines, fine condition.

The Imperial Porcelain Factory, also known as the Imperial Porcelain Manufactory (abbreviated as IPM), is a producer of hand-painted ceramics in Saint Petersburg, Russia. It was established by Dmitry Ivanovich Vinogradov in 1744 and was supported by the Russian tsars since Empress Elizabeth. Many still refer to the factory by its well-known former name, the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory.
