RUSSIAN KORNILOV TEAPOT & CUP & SAUCER. Comprising a charming teapot in the Pan Slavic style, the spout in the shape of a horse neck and head and the handle shaped as a stylized horse. The shoulder decorated with repeating crowned shields, each depicting different Russian provinces and with repeating floral and geometric decoration and the fitted lid with vented finial. The cup with similar stylized horse handle and both the cup and saucer with similar decorative banding. The underside of teapot and saucer with Kornilov Bros. mark with imperial warrant and each piece further marked in English “Made in Russia by Kornilov Bros. for Tiffany & Co. New York” and with the model number 220. Width of teapot 9.1 inches (23.5cm), height 5 inches (12.5cm). Diameter of saucer 5.5 inches (14cm).
