"Lu Zhi" (1495-1576) Chinese painting on silk of birds and trees. Ming Dynasty, Two birds are perched on gnarled branches of a tree growing out from a rock outcropping. Two lines of Chinese characters on the upper right. indicated the artist "Lu Zhi" painted on the year of 1562
