Description
Two Chinese tea dust glazed vases, dating from the 18th/19th centuries. Smaller vase has bulbous body and wide neck that rises to a flared, four sided mouth with rounded corner. Neck is adorned by two chi dragon shaped handles, tea dust glazed on the recessed base. Taller vase Meiping style with four sets of grooves running vertically from rim to base. Six character square incised stamp on the recessed brown glazed base.
Smaller: H. 7 1/2" (19 cm), larger: H. 8 1/2" (21.6 cm)

Condition: larger vase having repair to cracked pieces at the flared mouth in one section. the smaller vase has restoration to both handles
