Henry Moses Judah (1821–1866) was a career officer in the United States Army , serving during the Mexican–American War and American Civil War . He is most remembered for his role in helping thwart Morgan's Raid in 1863 and for leading a disastrous attack during the Battle of Resaca . Scarce portion of pre war D.S., Fort Jones, Ca 1855 narrow entry removed from a muster roll, signed by Judah in the right margin. He has added his rank “ Capt & Com’g”
