Four New England Colonial bank note bills
lot includes four pieces of paper currency bills from the late 18th century: two shilling notes printed in Pennsylvania (under the reign of George III) of ten (S/N 13,336) and fourteen (S/N 1516) shillings, dated 1773; each with various penned signatures; along with two State of Massachusetts dollar notes: both hole cancelled; one for twenty dollars from 1780, (S/N 15900), and one for eight dollars dated 1786 (S/N 6380)

Matted and framed together; bills show considerable but not uncommon overall foxing and age toning, yet remain generally bright and legible.
