Description
A carved wooden pair of roof finials, ancestral totems known as "Kadauma" they are installed as protective talisman against sorcery, malevolent spirits and calamity. Traditionally considered male and female guardians, the set measures 29.5 inches tall and have been custom mounted to a metal base. * Field collected in Rantenggaro village, Kodi, Western Sumba, Indonesia.
