'Herons in Bullrushes' Rockingham-Glazed Ale Jug and Cover, Attributed to Edwin & William Bennett, Baltimore, Maryland, 1850-58. Modelled in high relief on both sides with a flock of herons standing in bullrushes, the branch handle issuing acorns and oak leaves onto the sides, the slightly domed cover with acorn knop, unmarked. H: 9.75 in., W: 6.5 in., D: 9 in.
