Description
J. & E. Stevens and James. H. Bowen, American. Cast iron, glass, and pigment "Frog Bank" or "Two Frogs" mechanical coin bank, ca. 1882. When the level behind the largest frog is pressed, the smaller frog's foot comes forward to send the coin from it's hands into the larger frog's mouth. Marked along the underside; missing the plug.

Condition
The bank functions. Losses to the painted decoration and wear throughout consistent with age and use. The plug along the bottom is missing.
