Description
Henry Yu-Kee Woo (American/Chinese, b. 1927). Watercolor on silk painting titled "Rooster" depicting a white rooster in a green circular surface. The maple tree branch in the background adds a lovely fall atmosphere to the painting. Stamped left and lower right. With a certificate of authenticity.

Condition
The piece has no visible tears, creases or losses. No visible sign of restoration under UV light. The color is bold and bright. There is light undulation throughout the sheet. Along the margin of the circle, there are brown spots; however, they appear to be original to the artistic process. A few scattered areas of light soiling to the silk mat. Along the interior of the glass, there is soiling which does not affect the artwork. Framed under plexiglass; not inspected out of frame; wear to the frame.
