An antique oil painting on canvas depicting a portrait of a bare footed girl holding a tambourine, and standing near a harp after the original watercolor painting, Sudlanderin als Allegorie der Musik, Southerner as an allegory of music, by Wilhelm Kray, German, 1828 to 1889. Signed by the artist, lower right. Wilhelm Kray was a German illustrator, genre and portrait painter. Wilhelm Kray was a prominent figure in the Romanticism movement. One of a kind artwork.
