Carroll N. Jones Jr. American (1917-2009) African American boys street scene oil on board Signed lower right. Carroll N Jones Jr was a Vermont artist most well known for his portrait of Governor Howard Dean that hangs in the State House in Montpelier. Jones worked in Medical illustration for the Army during World War II. He was also a commercial illustrator who worked for Saturday Evening Post, Life Magazine, Old Crow Bourbon and many others. Mr. Jones art has mostly been sold privately. 25"H x 21"W (sight), 29 1/4"H x 25"W (frame)
