Pierre Arman 1970s Limited Edition Solid 18K Yellow Gold Deconstructed Male Figure Brooch #8/8 - This rare vintage brooch was designed by Pierre Arman and crafted in solid 18k yellow gold. The brooch has a sculptural design in the form of a deconstructed male figure. Pierre Arman was one of the first proponents of scatter art and around the 1960's and adopted the destruction as a strategy to create some new art pieces, deconstructing the pieces of an original object to create a similar new one. This piece is from a closed edition of only 8 pieces, and is number 8/8. The piece is also signed "Arman" along with the French hallmarks. Measurements: 1.80" length.
