An unusually attractive Bru in the final years of their manufacturing era, 24" (61cm) with head incised in back "BRU. Jne R 12." She is the closed-mouth version, with typical upper protruding lip that gives it the "Bru" look, dimple in chin, very nice bulbous blue-grey paperweight eyes, evenly-painted multi-stroke brows and tiny lashes, pierced earlobes with unusually pale bisque for a doll of this period. She is mounted to a fully-articulated wood and composition body, unmarked. She has been elegantly re-costumed in a periwinkle blue print silk dress with lace trim and wide collar. The shoes are good quality brown leather with rosettes, but not as old as the doll. The wig is dark brown human hair. Condition: (Very Good). Dimensions: 24" H.
