Crowley, one page, oblong 8vo, Collegium ad Spiritum Sanctum, Cefalu, Sicily, 2nd November 1920, to G. Bell & Sons. Ltd. Crowley commences his letter stating 'Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law', continuing to thank his correspondents for their letter and remarking 'You will by now have received the balance of the account due to you. I have transferred my interests in the stock to the Collegium ad Spiritum Sanctum and authorize you to deliver same to their order'. Crowley concludes his letter writing 'Love is the law, love under will'. Rare. Some light creasing and minor age wear to the edges, about VG George Bell & Sons were a London book publishing house established in 1839. Crowley's letter was written from the Abbey of Thelema, a small house used as a temple and spiritual centre (as well as a type of magical school) in Sicily, which he had opened in 1920. The commune, which has been described as a type of 'anti-monastery', was designated by Crowley as 'Collegium ad Spiritum Sanctum', a College towards the Holy Spirit.
