FIRST EDITION, LATER ISSUE, WITH AN INTERESTING PROVENANCE NOTE TO ENDPAPER. One of Crowley's own favorites, Mortadello was first published in 1912. In the mid-1930s Crowley attempted to produce a play or film with civil rights activist and actor Paul Robeson. Although the play never came to fruition, the provenance note here regarding Lady Harris and a possible 1937 publication of Mortadello may be associated. Yorke 49.
