Stamp: Collector's stamp, Lugt no.: 1012. Fritz Hasselmann (? - 1894 Offenstetten) . Munich. 19th century
Inscription: Signed and dated below the image "G. Boettger Senior del. & sc. 1801", inscribed below "Meine Königin! Do I find you here?" The print comes from the collection of Fritz Hasselmann (1867-1925), with blue collector's mark "F.H." on verso, Lugt number L.1012. Gottlieb Boettger, German engraver, was a reproduction engraver in Leipzig from about 1796. Probably father of Johann Gottlieb B. Illustrated probably 1811-13 Netto's Toiletten-Geschenk, a yearbook for ladies, which was published by Georg Voß in Leipzig since 1805. He also engraved portraits of Maria Pavlovna of Saxe-Weimar, Alexander I of Russia, Baron Knigge and others. From the famous house "Ludwig Rosenthal's Antiquariat", Munich.
