(56) pieces, mostly 18th-19th centuries, many with various hallmarks and capacity marks, including: (6) round plates with marks for Townsend & Compton of London, Samuel Ellis, and Thomas Swanson (8 in.); (5) round chargers (largest 15 in.), a hexagonal charger (17 1/4 in.); (11) handled tavern mugs with makers including James Yates, Yates & Birch, James Dixon & Son, and others (tallest 5 in.); a footed Sheffield creamer and sugar with marks of "Dixon & Son," circa 1829 (tallest 4 1/2 in.); three casters, the shortest marked James Dixon & Sons / Sheffield (tallest 5 in.); a pewter sandwich box with mark of James Dixon & Sons (4 3/4 x 3 3/4 x 1 1/2 in.); (4) porringers (largest 6 in. diameter); a floral form serving bowl (10 1/4 in.); two floral form plates (9 1/2 in.); (3) pair of candlesticks and oil lamp large double handled bowl with fitted undertray having 1735 date and tower hallmark (15 in.); (3) oval dishes, unmarked (7 in.); fireside cookware pot with swing handle with crowned rose stamp to underside (7 1/2 in. diameter); (7) graduated French pewter measures (7 in. tallest).
