Wang Bu (Chinese, 1898-1968), A Porcelain Plaque of Buddhist Deities
Republic Period (1912-1949), porcelain hand painted in iron red with two smaller figures admiring a larger figure of a Luohan (Arhat) deities beside a censer with smoke rising into the air, mountain cliff behind them, seal or cleric script to upper left side together with a signature and two red seals, another larger seal to lower left corner, presented in a double edge wood frame with shaped hanger to top.
Acquired in Hong Kong in the 1950s, and then by descent.
Frame dimensions 23 1/2 x 15 1/4 in.
