Description

This letter of recommendation was written by Rabbi Bloch on behalf of his student, Mr Tuvia Bronznik of Jonava. In his letter, Rabbi Bloch testifies as to his student's great dedication to his Yeshiva studies. Rabbi Bloch asserts that Tuvia's talents "will likely lead him to greatness among Israel." The letter is hand-signed by HaGaon Rabbi Yosef Yehudah Leib Bloch, along with his official stamp.
Rabbi Yosef Yehudah Leib Bloch (1860-1929) was the Rabbi of the town of Telz as well as Rosh Yeshivat Telz. He was a primary figure of the Mussar movement. Tuvia ben Pazi (Bronznik) (1905-1975) was born to Chanoch (Henoch) Bronznik and Puah (Paya) ben Pazi (Bronznik) (nee Goldstein). In 1930, Tuvia married Yaffa Sheindel ben Pazi (nee Rabinowitz). They had 8 children: Chanoch, Shimon and another six. Telz 1928.
