Description
Japan, Meiji Period (1868-1912), consisting of a large bowl with an interior decorated with panels of garden views in enamels against a white field, interspersed by floral designs in vermilion against a cobalt field, measuring 4" high x 11" diameter, together with a small dish decorated with herringbone & wavy designs in enamels centred by lake view, measuring 7.25" diameter, lastly a small dish decorated with overlapping panels of geometric, avian, floral & insect designs, rising to a scalloped rim, measuring 7.5" diameter.
