Collection of English Imari Porcelain and Ironstone Dinnerware
including twenty-three pieces of Derby pattern 383, ca. 1784-1820, with red-painted marks, comprised of four luncheon plates, dia. 9-1/4", four salad/dessert plates, dia. 8-1/2", three breakfast cups, h. 2-1/4", and three saucers, dia. 6-1/2", five dessert dishes, dia. 7" to 8", and four cookie or cake dishes, dia. 8-1/2", together with fifteen pieces of Ashworth's pattern 7499, fourth quarter 19th century, with printed and impressed marks, comprised of five dinner plates, dia. 10-1/2", four soup plates, dia. 10-1/2", and six luncheon plates, dia. 9-1/2", and three waste bowls in various patterns, h. 3-1/2", dia. 6-1/4".

Condition
DERBY
Varying degrees of generally minor scattered rubbing to parcel-gilt , primarily at rim edges.
Luncheon Plates: Two with fine craquelure, one of these with an old faint hairline (approx. 2-1/2") from
mid-rim to center perimeter.
Salad/Dessert Plates: All with some degree of discoloration under the rim. One with an old professional
repaired break at the rim (approx. 6" long) and mottled discoloration at the center. Two with glaze
"crystalization" at center underneath.
Cups: Overall good. Typical rubbing to gilt at rim and around one foot.
Saucers: Overall good.
Desserts: Smaller example slightly tanned. One with fine craquelure and a faint intermittent curved
hairline around the top recessed perimeter. This example also with tanning to glaze and a restored 1-1/4"
hairline at rim edge. Another with an old faint "Y" hairline continuing across the entirety. A tiny glaze
anomaly at the rim of another.
Cookie/Cake Dishes: Two with faint glaze "dirt" visible at rims underneath, another with a faint hairline to
glaze at opposing rims underneath.
ASHWORTH
In overall very good condition with scattered minor rubbing to gilt rims.
One dinner plate with a 1/4" glaze hairline from rim edge.
