height 35 1/2in (90cm): width 22in (56cm); depth 19in (48cm)
Provenance:
Sold Christie's Sydney, 9 December 2003, lot 272.
Property from an Important Private Beverly Hills Collection.

Condition

Structurally sound. Seats re-canned. New swab cushions. Three uprights at the top of the chairs have been broken and repaired. One back leg broken and repaired, splice line visible. The gilt and ebonized decoration overall honest with scattered areas of wear and retouching. Typical dents, dings, and surface scratches overall.
