A pair of George IV Gothick parcel gilt ebonized armchairs
circa 1825
Each back rail stamped TH.

Condition
Structurally sound. Seats re-canned. New swab cushions. Three uprights at the top of the chairs have been broken and repaired. One back leg broken and repaired, splice line visible. The gilt and ebonized decoration overall honest with scattered areas of wear and retouching. Typical dents, dings, and surface scratches overall.
