13-16thC Kamakura Style Buddha- Bronze- Good Size-finely cast and sculpted. This looks to be the real thing-the face is superbly sculpted in a classic 13thC style. Look at the photos and judge for yourself. After further examination, I became increasingly convinced this piece is 13th, or possibly 14th Century, and that was much more important than I had thought it was when I first listed and described it. I nearly raised the starting price significantly, but out of fairness to the auction process, I left the starting price where it was and decided to let the market set the price.
