'A painter and illustrator forÊSt. Nicholas Magazine,ÊJudge,ÊLife,ÊHarper's Weekly,ÊCollege HumorÊandÊCosmopolitan. He sold his first illustration at age 12 and is best remembered for hisÊ'I Want You,' a World War I poster of Uncle Sam, for which he served as model.' (Smithsonian American Art Museum)

Overall fair condition, paper toned, faint mat burn, wear and losses to edges, some stains and marks in borders and along top edge.
