Biography: 1904 - 1987. Alice began drawing from an early age, a hobby that served as therapy when she was at rest on two occasions for different accidents, a fact that marked her for life and was reflected in her artistic production.In the early 1930s she married Wolfgang Paalen, this union allowed her to interact with the Surrealist group, mainly with Antonin Artaud and André Bretón. With them she shared ideas and artistic postures, and on her, they had a direct and decisive influence on her sensitivity and her need to express himself in a new way.From Rahon's arrival in Mexico in 1939, at the invitation of Frida Kahlo, Rahon dedicated herself to painting exploring various techniques that she enriched with sands and graffiti. The year of her stay in Mexico, she participated in the "International Exhibition of Surrealism" organized by Cesar Moro and Paalen at the Galer­a de Arte Mexicano; part waters that allowed her to subsequently exhibit regularly in Mexico, New York, Paris and Lebanon.
