DESCRIPTION: Up for auction is a signed and numbered limited edition, hand-embellished silkscreen print by renowned architect Richard Meier. Meier is the recipient of the Pritzker Architecture Prize and the gold medal in Architecture from the Academy of Arts and Letters. He has designed some of the most important architecture of his generation, including the Getty Center in Los Angeles and the Barcelona Museum. The silkscreen is entitled del Chianti and was released in 2017. The black and white silkscreen includes hand-embellishments of color. This makes each of these prints unique and a one-of-a-kind production. The print is pencil signed, dated, and numbered by Meier and is printed on Coventry Rag paper. This is number 14 of only 15 produced. The print is unframed and measures 14" x 14".
CONDITION: The print is in fine condition with no noticeable flaws other than two pieces of tape to the back of the print, see photos.
