The Fry-Jefferson map of Virginia is the fundamental cartographic document of the region from the 18th century. Historically, this is the most valuable and influential early map of the Virginia.
Fry was the immediate predecessor of George Washington as commanding officer of the Virginia Regiment; and Peter Jefferson was Thomas Jefferson's father.
