Green cotton garrison cap, bearing an R.F.C. insignia badge at the front, along with two brass R.F.C. insignia buttons. Expected wear to the interior. Accompanied by a document, 1p. 4to., [n.p., n.d.], commemorating the service of 2nd Lieutenant Roland Keith Douglas of the 19th Squadron of the Royal Air Force, given upon his death in 1918. The 19th Squadron was initially deployed to France flying the B.E. 12 until they began receiving Sopwith Dolphins in 1917.
